Click here to go to the RealPlayer download page The RealPlayer download page presents you with two different versions to choose from: Premium and Basic. We would recommend snaggin' the Basic version if you're just looking for a way to listen to The Old School Station. Your browser will pop up the 'Save File' dialog box so you can choose where you want to down the RealPlayer install file to. We recommend saving it to your desktop so you can find it easily. The install file will be an executive file (.exe). After the file is done downloading you can close the RealPlayer site. Find the install file on your desktop and double-click on it. Make your way through the install process (agree to the terms, choose your internat connection, install location, desktop settings...) At this point it will install the application. It may ask you to close your browser if you have it open, so it can properly configure the browser to work with RealPlayer properly. They will prompt you to check what types of files you would like to associate RealPlayer with. Uncheck all the file types that you do not wish RealPlayer to because teh default application for. For example, if you use a different application to listen to MP3's or CD's, you would want to uncheck those from this list. If you only desire RealPlayer to be used for the Old School Station stream, click on 'Advanced...' and uncheck everything except 'pls' (Under Other Media > Audio Playlist). Last time I ran through the install process there were a couple ads at this point, you can choose whether you would like to install the optional Google Toolbar or whatever other "great" offers they have for you. In order to use the player you have to give up a little 411 on yourself (If you really don't want to give us the private digits then you can choose to use Winamp instead, you can dodge around their registration process during install). The install process will make one last ditch attempt to have you sign up for their premium service, if you are still not interested simply check the 'Basic Setup.' And that's it! You'll get a bunch of pretty welcome graphics but can quickly put your mouse on the address bar and enter our stream URL: http://listen.oldschoolstation.com:8140/listen.pls. In the future you can now go to the Old School Station homepage and click on the stream button.
